UGLE Award for Romanian Grand Master at Bucharest Meeting
The annual general meeting of the National Grand Lodge of Romania was attended by Assistant Grand Master David Williamson and the Grand Chancellor, Alan Englefield, representing the United Grand Lodge of England. At the meeting in Bucharest, David Williamson presented the Grand Master, Eugen-Ovidiu Chirovici, with the Kent Medallion - a special award from the Duke of Kent as UGLE Grand Master.
The meeting took place in the parliamentary building, said to be the largest building in the world after the Pentagon. The building comprises ten years-worth of the entire marble production in Europe.
The UGLE recognised the National Grand Lodge of Romania in March 2008.
