Ill & MP RAMÓN TORRES IZQUIERDO - Sovereign Grand Commander, Supreme Council of AASR for Spain
Very important guests of the Scottish Rite in Romania
I am for the first time in Romania in my official capacity as Sovereign Grand Commander. I think you have very good masonic activity, and that it’s growing, which was not at all easy under the previous political regime. But now you are developing very well in Romania. And the Sovereign Grand Commander Constantin Iancu is very loved in Europe and, I would say, throughout the world. This position of Constantin Iancu’s, in defense and promotion of something so important to us as the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite leads to an identity of affirmation of the Supreme Council in Spain and the Supreme Council in Romania. There is a special connection between Spain and Romania! I loved it and I very much enjoyed the various degrees, the harmony that you achieved with the music, the lights, and the projections, how well the officials worked in conjunction. You took good advantage of the new technology, in order to obtain the objective of each degree, which was of a harmonious manner that represents each degree, for it to be able to internalize much better. I had a beautiful experience, and I have to congratulate all the brethren for a well done job.
