This Refund and Returns Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of the Shop operated by ARES GROUP S.R.L. (CUI RO13356876) and describes how Buyers who are natural persons may exercise their right of withdrawal from a distance contract, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights.

1. Right of withdrawal – 14 calendar days

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract, without giving any reason and without incurring any costs other than those set out in Section 4, within 14 calendar days. The 14-day period is calculated from the day you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the ordered product, or of the last product, if your order is delivered in several separate parcels.

2. How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, before the 14-day period expires, by an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an e-mail) sent to masonicforum@gmail.com, stating your order number and the products you wish to return. You may (optionally) use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose.

Model withdrawal form (complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)

To ARES GROUP S.R.L., e-mail: masonicforum@gmail.com
I hereby notify my withdrawal from the contract of sale for the following product(s): (product name(s))
Order placed on: (date)
Received on: (date)
Name of consumer: (name)
Address of consumer: (address)
Signature of consumer:
Date:

Withdrawal is considered timely if the notice is sent before the 14-day deadline expires – the physical product itself may be returned afterwards, in accordance with Section 3.

3. Returning the product

If you withdraw from the contract, you must send the product back to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date on which you communicated your decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if you send the product back before the 14-day period expires.

4. Cost of returning the product

You will bear the direct cost of returning the product (shipping cost to us). We do not currently offer free returns, except where the product is defective or was delivered in error, in which case the return cost is borne by the Seller.

5. Condition of the returned product

You are only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products (similar to what you might do in a physical bookshop – e.g. leafing through a few pages). Damaging the product, writing in it, or removing protective wrapping in a way that prevents it from being resold as new may result in a partial refund, proportional to the diminished value. If we failed to properly inform you of your right of withdrawal, you will not be liable for any diminished value of the product.

6. Refund

We will refund all payments received from you, including the initial delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard, least expensive option we offer), without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days of the date on which we were informed of your decision to withdraw. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction (via NETOPIA Payments or Stripe, as applicable), at no extra cost to you. We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned products back, or until you have supplied evidence that the products have been sent back to us, whichever is the earlier.

7. Exceptions

Printed (physical) books are not exempt from the right of withdrawal. If we sell digital content (e.g. e-books) supplied immediately in the future, with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal, this will be explicitly flagged before the order is finalised, and the right of withdrawal will not apply to such products, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014.
