I wish a Happy Birthday and many more issues to the Masonic Forum Magazine on the occasion of its 50th issue, on behalf of the RL Forum no. 64, București, and its brethren, with the permission of the W.Bro. Gabriel Ivan, and mine personally.
The Masonic Forum Magazine has a powerful resonance in my heart, being one of the first projects in which I participated, proudly, after I was raised. The project had for an incubator the RL Forum no. 64 București, whence its name. The WM of the RL at that time was Claudiu Ionescu, the Founder and Director of the publication.
I personally consider that the Masonic Forum Magazine made an important contribution to our Masonic becoming, both in the internal and international. Internal, it helped to spread the Masonic knowledge, which was quite difficult of access at that time, to facilitate communication between the brethren and the orients, as well the knowledge of the Masonic activities of the brethren, orients and obediences. International, due to its graphic appearance, its editorial style and its bilingual format, it found a place for itself among the elite of the Masonic publications, at the same time presenting to the brethren from other Obediences the work of the brethren of the NGLR.
Equally, this anniversary is of my friend and brother Claudiu Ionescu, the soul of the Masonic Forum Magazine, whom I offer heartfelt congratulations for his admirable dedication and perseverance in the cause of the magazine, alongside the members of the editorial team and the collaborators.
